HB Wallet Is Now a Multi-chain Wallet

While Ethereum remains a powerful Layer 1 blockchain, its high transaction costs have prompted many users to migrate to other networks with lower fees.

Recognizing these challenges, our team has decided to upgrade HB Wallet into a Multi-chain Wallet to better serve our users in our HB Wallet 4.4.0 Update.

We have added support for:

• EVM chains (e.g., Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, and more)
• Bitcoin chain
• Solana chain
• Base chain

Beyond these default chains, users can also add custom EVM-compatible chains of their choice. This flexibility empowers users and significantly enhances their overall experience.

What Happens to Existing Users During the Upgrade?

All accounts from the older versions of HB Wallet will be automatically transferred to the new version upon updating.

Users only need to update to version 4.4.0, and everything else will migrate seamlessly. Plus, users will now have access to multiple chains and exciting new features.

• Pinned TX: Positioned at the first spot on the toolbar, this feature enables users to pin important transactions after execution. These pinned transactions are easily accessible via the Pinned TX tab.
• Accounts: The next section provides detailed information about users’ accounts, with wallet addresses categorized by chain for better organization and management.
• Assets: Located third on the toolbar, this section lets users monitor their owned assets and perform actions like sending, receiving, or exchanging tokens directly.
• History: The final section on the toolbar logs transaction history, making it simple for users to review and track their past activities.

One standout feature is “Search Coin”, which allows users to monitor price fluctuations and transaction volumes of assets across different chains. Users can set up a Passcode as a primary security method—a 4-digit code created by the user. Once the Passcode is set, users can further enhance security by enabling Fingerprint Authentication, adding an extra layer of protection for their accounts.

These security settings act as the final verification step for user actions. For instance, when sending assets, users must confirm the transaction using their Passcode or fingerprint for additional safety.

Backup Wallet

The Backup Wallet feature is an essential security measure, allowing users to restore their wallet if it is accidentally deleted or reset. Here’s how to use it:

1. Navigate to Settings: Access the wallet’s settings menu.
2. Select the Backup Wallet Option: Click on the Backup Wallet option. If your wallet hasn’t been backed up yet, this option will be highlighted with a red border for emphasis.
3. Set a Password for the Backup File: Create a password for the backup file. Note: You can set different passwords for different backup files. However, to recover a backup file, you must enter the exact password used when creating it.
4. Choose a Storage Location: Select a folder on your phone where the backup file will be saved.
5. Complete the Backup: Finalize the process to save your backup file securely.

Which Etheremon should I catch?

As new Monseekers have been asking the same question, there are few things to break down before you start buying Mons.

Each Mon comes with different strengths and weaknesses. By knowing exactly what they are and how those qualities affect your game strategy, you will have a better chance to optimize your selection.

Battle Power (BP)

Battle Power determines the strength of a Mon. The higher these stats are, the more expensive a Mon can be. In a fight, these stats will impact a Mon’s overall power and help you with your battle strategy.

Type

There are 17 discovered types in Etheremon: Leaf, Insect, Rock, Lightning, Water, Fire, Iron, Ice, Flyer, Earth, Combat, Neutral, Mystic, Telepath, Phantom, Dragon, Toxin. Each mon possesses from 1 to 3 types. Each type has a distinct kind of strengths and shadows, please find the image below for demonstration.

Knowing the advantages of each type will help you to sharpen your strategy and have a great chance to win over your opponent in a battle.

Experience (EXP)

After each battle, EXPs are rewarded to both winning and losing Mons, depending on the result and the level gap between two mons. The higher EXPs a mon gets, the more expensive it can be.

Level

The higher EXPs are provided, the higher level of your Mons will reaches. Mons at higher levels will have higher stats and are definitely stronger. Thus, some Etheremon will gain the ability to transform after reaching a certain level.

Catch number

You can evaluate the Mon’s scarcity based on this number. The lower the number is, the more valuable they are, especially Mons with catch number #1, #2, #3. These numbers show that they are appeared and purchased early in the game.

Gen

The Mon’s generation. Gen 0 are rarer than others and more valuable.

Gason

A special class of supporting mons. When a Gason is in your team as a supporter, it increases (buffs) the defensive power for all Mons of the same type.

Gasons do not have ancestors, have only one form, and cannot lay eggs. This Etheremon class can always be caught in the store.

In a battle, an ancestor increases their descendant’s offensive stats. Each mon has up to 3 ancestors.
