What is Ethermon?

Ethermon.io (formerly Etheremon) is a Dapp Game on the Ethereum network where you can catch, train, evolve your mons (NFTs) to defeat others in battles, and trade them as collectibles for ETH.

Ethermon ‘Awakening’ was relaunched in 2019 as a spin-off of the popular Etheremon.com. Specifically, the community was behind this new content of the game, and an entirely new team maintains the game. Ethermon supports both old Ether Monsters and newer ones, so players can continue to use their mons to join battles and continue their new adventures.

What is Ethermon Gacha?

Ethermon Gacha is a cooperation between Ethermon.io and Bacoor Inc. This is the newest version of Nagemon Gacha series. In this game, you can have a chance to win valuable Ether Monsters by using Monster Fossils (Gacha tickets) to activate the Ethermon Gacha machine and receive a random item in return.

1. Launch HB Wallet app. In the wallet main screen, swipe up for quick access. Then select the ‘Nagemon Gacha‘ card.

2. Tap on ‘Sign in’ to proceed.

3. After registration, tap on the menu icon on the upper right and choose ‘Gacha‘.

4. You will be presented with 4 Gacha machines. Select the ‘Ethermon Gacha’ machine. Press ‘Play‘ to launch the machine.

5. Tap on ‘Play x1’’ if you wish to play one turn only, or ‘Play x10‘ to play 10 turns at once.

In addition to the successful creation of NFT +, Bacoor Inc. has made another stride in blockchain technology with the introduction of ‘Smart Proof’, also known as Blockchain Card.

What is Smart Proof (Blockchain Card)?

Smart Proof is a physical blockchain card aspiring to push the boundaries of what digital assets could be. The card creates a solid connection between an asset and its blockchain version – an NFT, therefore, brings more value to the asset and enables users to prove their ownership via blockchain technology.

More specifically, each Smart Proof comes with an NFT that is acquirable within the blockchain. NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are built on the Ethereum blockchain using the ERC-721 standards to chronicle an asset’s ownership, approval, transfer and of course the asset’s metadata. If you are the initial owner of a Smart Proof, you can get the NFT from that card by using HB Wallet to scan the printed QR code.

The original buyer can choose to maintain ownership of both the physical and NFT version of the card, or they may choose to separate them and sell off either of the card versions.

In case you choose to sell or auction off that NFT version, the ownership will transfer to the buyer creating a new ownership chronicle on the blockchain.

How can Smart Proof be used?

Smart Proof can be implemented to enhance the value and prove the authenticity of an asset, such as trading cards and baseball cards, or event tickets that are prone to resale problems, photographs and videos that involve portrait rights and copyrights, or artworks that require authenticity verification.

Buyers or collectors can trace and verify the origin of an asset directly with the issuer via Smart Proof, without having to rely on a third party authentication institution. The authenticity of a tangible asset, for example – a sports card, can be easily validated using Smart Proof.

A sports card as a Smart Proof could include an autograph of the player and in some cases may incorporate a piece of memorabilia – which are represented in the NFT version of the card. By owning a Smart Proof, you also own the NFT version of the card.

Developers can sell Smart Proofs at local stores, or on e-commerce stores. Users can purchase them in fiat or via credit card without having to own ETH or cryptocurrencies, then scan the printed QR code on the card with HB Wallet iOS or Android to get an NFT instantly without paying for any extra fees (include Gas Fees). It’s just as simple as buying a gift card on Amazon! After scanning a card, you can obtain both the NFT and the Card as your collectibles. You can sell off either of the card versions.

Smart Proof can be a great gift for participants at an event. The product was first introduced at ‘Crypto Trends 2020’, a large-scale blockchain event held by HB Wallet in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. The first exclusive series of Smart Proof – Nagemon NFT Card Series – was handed to participants in the event. The concept of decentralized finance (DeFi) has gained credence among the Ethereum community over the last year. Fueled by the upswing of MakerDAO and its stablecoin DAI, DeFi is at its speed on becoming an instrumental development of modern finance.

What is peer-to-peer (P2P) lending?

Peer-to-peer lending is an easy way to connect with cash-flush individuals without the need for intermediaries, picture-perfect credit, or reams of paperwork slowing down the process.

In other words, the protocol enables individuals to secure loans directly from other individuals, cutting out the financial institution as middlemen.

Peer-to-peer lending is done through designated P2P platforms. These services match borrowers with vetted, private investors. In the world of DeFi, there’s no bank (or associated federal regulations) involved. Forget about the paperwork either. The transparency and accessibility of DeFi help to mitigate the costs and risks commonly associated with traditional alternatives like returns with equities and bonds where intermediary fees run high, and equate low-risk equity returns tarry behind typical P2P lending returns.

For lenders, P2P lending is a way to earn interest on their financial assets at a rate that is better than those offered by conventional savings accounts or certificates of deposit (CD).

What is Constant?

Constant is the first fully secured P2P lending platform. All investor funds are fully backed by collateral. Borrower collateral is stored safely in a smart contract or insured BitGo escrow, which means no one can touch it – not even the Constant team.

How does Constant work?

The Constant platform matches borrowers and investors according to their own rates and terms. Borrower collateral is securely escrowed and is automatically returned when the borrower repays. Constant enables borrowers to stake liquid capital via over-collateralized crypto assets (e.g., Ether). Thereafter, borrowers can cherrypick the best deals automatically listed on Constant’s interface, selecting the best interest rates that are posted independently by each lending peer.

On the other hand, lenders can choose to set custom interest rates and terms, from which borrowers can then decide. To protect lenders, Constant strictly requires every loan to be 150% backed by collateral.

So if borrowers default, you don’t lose a cent. Constant sells the collateral to repay the lender. The same applies if their collateral falls in value too much.

How to use Constant in HB Wallet

Borrowers

After deciding how much to borrow, make sure that your wallet is loaded with your crypto asset that can be used as collateral. You’ll need to put up 150% of the loan amount in crypto, which gives you a very generous loan-to-value (LTV) ratio of 66%.

1. At HB Wallet homescreen, swipe up to show up a list of suggestions. Select the “Constant” card.

2. Tap “Borrow” to proceed.

3. Set up your own borrowing terms: how much you want to borrow and for how long, the interest rate you want to pay, and your type of collateral.

4. Sign up or Log in via your Facebook or Google account to continue.

The Constant algorithm will automatically match you with investors that can lend you the money you need at the rates you want.

Once you’ve found a match, you’ll receive the loan in your account. ETH collateral is securely escrowed in a smart contract, while all other collateral is escrowed in a BitGo cold wallet insured to $100M. Collateral will be automatically returned when you repay.

Lenders

Your investments are fully backed by borrower collateral. Unmatched portions earn an automatic 5% APY, and can be withdrawn anytime.

1. At HB Wallet homescreen, swipe up to show up a list of suggestions. Select the “Constant” card.

2. Tap “Invest” to proceed.

3. Set up your own lending terms: how much you want to lend and for how long, the annual percentage rate (APR) you are willing to accept for your loan. If there is a borrower willing to pay more, you will earn the higher interest rate.

4. Sign up or Log in via your Facebook or Google account to continue.

The Constant algorithm will automatically match you with borrowers that meet your requirements. While you wait, your funds remain in the custody of Prime Trust, where they are insured up to $130M and can be withdrawn at any time. If you set your interest rate at the current market rate of 9%, you will be matched instantly. If you choose a lower interest rate, it might take a little longer to find you a suitable match.

Once a borrower is found, the loan will be available in your account within 24 hours (slightly longer for larger amounts). You’ll start earning interest on the matched amount, to be withdrawn at the end of your term.

Over 50 crypto enthusiasts had gathered at Up Co-Working Space, Vpbank Tower 89 Lang Ha – Hanoi last Saturday to join HB Wallet, Kyber Network, and VIC Group to discuss security matters in Crypto Trading.

The event started with an amazing presentation of Mr. Son Truong from HB Wallet. The keynote focused on the importance of ‘Private Key’ in preserving Crypto Assets. Since most popular Crypto exchanges are Centralized Exchanges, it’s essential for investors to break down their investment and secure a part of it within reliable wallets like HB Wallet, or in cold wallets like Trezor.

The fundamental knowledge of Blockchain was also explained along with a neat demonstration of HB Wallet on the stage. Some unique features like ‘Buy Crypto‘, ‘Swap’, ‘Airdrops‘, ‘HB Chat‘, ‘Blockchain Card‘ etc. were mentioned during Son’s demonstration.

Most participants have received a gift from HB Wallet by downloading the application on iOS, or Android.

Mr. Trinh Anh Tu from VIC Group then continued to explain the situation of the current Crypto Market, and tips to determine good Projects, as well as Market Trends in 2020. Some of those were mentioned in the event Crypto Trends 2020 which happened earlier this month. He also discussed the DeFi topic, which tends to be a trend of 2020, since most communities are exchanging information about DeFi products.

In the last Keynote, Mr. Jason Vu from Kyber Network introduced a brand new product of the company, which is the KyberDAO system. It is a new staking model based on a voting mechanism of the KNC Token from Kyber Network. It enables users to vote for major activities and updates of the popular Kyber Network protocol.
